Church of the Redeemer seeks to be a local expression of historic faith, enduring worship, and genuine community in St. Paul. At Church of the Redeemer you will participate in worship that is joyful and reverent. You will hear relevant messages and thoughtful liturgy that connect to enduring Christian faith and practices. Most importantly, you can expect to encounter the living God who leads, restores, heals and transforms our lives. If a faithful, relational, and rooted community is something you desire, we invite you to visit us and experience it for yourself.
In 2007, members of Church of the Cross in Hopkins, MN began meeting for midweek Evening Prayer in Roseville. One
of their prayers at that time was that God would someday use them to plant a church in St. Paul. Over the years, God has answered those prayers and given life and growth to what is now Church of the Redeemer. Church of the Redeemer began weekly worship in the east metro as a second service of Church of the Cross in 2010, launched as Church of the Redeemer in 2011, and gathered for worship in the Como Park neighborhood from 2012 to January 2017. Beginning in February 2017 we now worship together in Arden Hills at the home of Gathering Place Lutheran Ministries (formerly Trinity Lutheran Church of Lake Johanna).
